The Winter Solstice Meet!

The audience was delighted by the Yuletide carols!

The really beautiful scene overlooking the orchestra!

And the band played on!

As you can see, Ryan was watching quite intently as the musicians played, and it looks like he made a little friend as well!

Everyone who attended told me what a wonderful time they had! It was cool outside, but no one really seemed to mind - there were indoor as well as outdoor activities to keep everyone happy!

There was a really great brass quintet orchestra performing seasonal music, yummy chestnuts roasted over an open fire, a winding woodland trail lit by luminaries and folks could even make edible ornaments for the creatures who inhabit the grounds.

Foxes, as well as many other animals, call the grounds of the Nature Center home.

The Nature Center has lots of wonderful activities year-round, so the Chi-PP will definitely be back!
